Review on Dr. Prepare Projection Alarm Clock - Indoor Outdoor Temperature Display, Dual Alarms, Multi-Colored Backlight, Weather Forecast by Rene Carrell

Very nice but the display sometimes dims at night

I like the fact that I don't have to worry about time drift. Because it uses WWV radio time signals, the time is always accurate. I finally gave up on my last projection clock because the projected time got darker and darker over time to the point where it was no longer usable. I think it was because the projection was "overloaded" so the LEDs wore out faster. This projection clock also has a very bright projection so it would be nice to be able to dim the projection brightness a bit so the projection LEDs last longer. I have noticed that sometimes the display and projection turns off at night. I'm older and often wake up during the night so this has struck me twice in the last 2 weeks. I think this behavior is due to the clock "stopping" to listen to the WWV time broadcast. It's a little annoying as my last "Atom" projection clock didn't do this, but I really like having accurate time and not having to worry about the clock going 5 or 10 over time minutes behind. Overall I am very happy with this watch. .
