Review on Enhanced Illumination: 💡 Slim Inch Compatible Recessed Lighting by Terrance Duncan

I bought four of these after finding out I couldn't use the built in Philips Hue lighting because I didn't have built in cans. I bought four of these for my living room and had a handyman install them. The contractor was impressed with the quality of the stabilizing spring fitted and the ease of connection. "They're not going anywhere," were his words. When I first turned it on I was blown away by the brightness, a very impressive light output. I had significant trouble syncing it with the iphone app which is why I got 4 stars instead of 5. I was eventually able to add and customize them. Once they're synced, the app is actually pretty cool. You can group them all together to manage them as a unit, or manage them individually. So far they have worked very well with Alexa once you download the right skill. Another complaint I have is the delay between pressing the switch and the lights turning on and off. Since I have four of these, they don't all turn on and off at once, but all four at different intervals. It's fast enough and probably not worth mentioning, but it's noticeable. Syncing to music works great too, although I had to keep the app open and hold my phone next to the speaker. However, I can't wait to throw a party!
