I bought these slim 6 inch lights to use on my covered patio. The back of each lantern states that they are "suitable for wet areas". small electrical boxes that accompany each light. The exposed rafters are 16 inches down the center so I built 4 wooden fixtures that the lights attach to. I purchased a Revain Utoolmart Bimetal 6.2" 160mm hole saw to cut holes.
