These copper-coated sponges do their job much better, won't rust, last a long time, and are capable of removing the most stubborn burn-ins or dirt on stainless steel or glassware. I received this 12 pack and I'm still on my first pad, I use it maybe once a week. But never on cast iron or carbon steel for obvious reasons. :) But when I'm frying something in a stainless steel pan, they're great at removing caking or dark grease stains.
