I had so much fun kayaking! I like that everything fits in a backpack. My only complaint, typical of my SUP research, is that it takes some arm strength and endurance to get airborne. However, I have a bad back and I've taken my upper body strength to hell about it, so it's not something I can do without pain, but my husband had no problem. I will consider a SUP pump if I get an opportunity to use it more often. I chose this board because I felt the design suited my tastes while still being unisex enough for my husband to enjoy and it folds into a package for easy portability. If it's vented, it won't fit in my Tahoe SUV. This is a photo of a girl's trip and I easily carried her to the water and left. I did notice a little unsteadiness compared to a solid board, but my balance was back within five minutes. I've never fallen off the board and transitioned from sitting to standing a few times. I liked that the mesh keeps my personal items dry and easy to put back in my backpack when I'm done. Great buy and at a great price!
