Review on Black Finish Yamaha NS-6490 Pair of 3-Way Bookshelf Speakers by Mura Mura Chun ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

High-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

Very good frequency characteristics - any sounds are heard. But only with good recording quality - be it audio or video (for example, through YouTube). The same applies to the shortcomings of the recording - if the recording is made in lousy quality, all the negative sides will be heard more clearly than on a simple technique. Pleasant soft bass, all mids and highs are perfectly audible. A subwoofer is not needed. Lack of bass can only be present if the recording was originally made with little bass. But if you put on native or good recordings, for example, Rammstein or Metallica, or a good classical concert with a well-recorded double bass part, then you understand that an additional subwoofer is not needed. You can listen to both loud performers - the above-mentioned Rammstein or Metallica, and quieter ones, for example, an acoustic concert by Mark Knopfler, where you can hear any touch on the strings, from which you get pleasure.

Pros
  • Excellent sound throughout the entire frequency range.
Cons
  • I glued the flannel footpegs, although without them there were no unwanted vibrations.
