After reading rave reports of successful connections and working with those using Windows 10 PCs, I expected the same. But after connecting the USB cable to my computer, nothing. Tried different USB ports. Nothing. Then I found an article that said you should give all new apps your explicit permission to use your computer's video and audio access for any new device, otherwise it could get blocked. And finally it worked; In general, I have very secure privacy settings. Therefore, before you send back a device that appears faulty at first glance, check the following: Settings > Apps > Camera > Advanced options > App permissions > Move the camera and microphone slide switches to the "On" position. .Alternatively, to check for driver updates, go to Device Manager and the webcam will be listed under Cameras as GENERAL WEBCAM. Hope this helps others.
