I've been thinking about buying a standalone player for several years (it also has built-in speakers). I still have a lot of my records from the 80's, as well as my dad's and even my grandmother's! I wanted a turntable with a resealable lid so I could store it to save space without damaging the platter. wanted the ability to record to SD or Flash; the ability to play 33 rpm and 45 rpm records; and the ability to output to a Bluetooth speaker. Well it does everything except output to Bluetooth. Pity! It can only act as a Bluetooth speaker for other devices! In other words, I can open Bluetooth on my iPhone and see "TT4" as an available Bluetooth device, then pair with it, and when I play audio on my phone, it plays through the player's built-in speaker. . This is the complete opposite of what I was hoping for and obviously wrongly believing this player was capable of. An SD/USB reader that looks nice too (it creates "MP3" files on the SD card I put in (which I think should be FAT32 formatted since "OS X Journaled" " format doesn't seem to work - it can easily create any format using "Disk Utility" on Mac)). The kit included an adapter for 45 and two additional needles. Instructions are a bit lacking, but it's pretty easy to figure out.
