This is my fourth solar charger. I like this model best. It's fairly efficient, performs well, and is fairly light. I use it to charge batteries and then use the batteries to charge my devices. This way I can get the most out of the panels. Of course, some of you EE will probably tell me that charging the secondary battery is inefficient. That's probably true; but that's how I use it. As usual, I also need extra power for other devices at night. For some reason sometimes a red LED blinks. It's not in the tiny instruction manual, but the description says "It flashes when there is overcurrent and short circuit." But nowhere is it described how to solve the problem. Tried to disconnect cable, checked cable ok, still blinking. There can be no short circuit unless a full battery is considered a short circuit. How can it be current? Solar flare? I thought one port is limited to 2.4A and only 3.8A. Doesn't that automatically limit the number of ports? Does this mean I have to manage the current draw? What about USB-C devices that can draw up to 3A? Maybe that's why it doesn't work with the iPad Pro? It should have been better designed to limit the current to the maximum current instead of triggering a charge stop condition. But if you only use USB3 or earlier and not USB-C, this shouldn't be a problem. I just hoped that this charger would work with all existing standards. And if you encounter a blinking red LED: The only way to reset it is to take the panels out of the sunlight for 5-10 seconds. Then put it back in the sun and it should work again. Might come back if the problem persists.
