Review on Lamplight Replacement Oil Lamp Chimney by Erin Lee

Revainrating 3 out of 5

the flame flutters and flutters, forming clouds of soot that quickly foul the ball and everything near the lamp

The adaptation of the chimney to the lamp for which it was purchased is too wide and only lets a small distance between the bottom edge of the burner and the glass. This isn't a problem in a room with relatively calm air, but even lifting the lamp to move it around the house needs to be done with extreme care. If you move the lamp too quickly, push it, or blow it off a fan with more than just a gentle breeze, the flame will flap and flutter, forming clouds of soot that will foul the sphere and anything near the lamp more quickly. It works sufficiently to be operational as long as the person is aware of this deficiency. However, it's a little disappointing that the globe's fit is so far from the tolerance for the lamp it was designed for.
