I have a 65-70 lb German Shepherd and just wanted to save her elbows and hips from long term injuries getting in and out of my pickup truck and also use it on my small low Honda Fit car . I've tried many types of ramps over the years and this is the best! It's all plastic so it's very light. The surface material is an oddly sling-like material that's hard to describe, but it works great for the dog. Does not slip and feels comfortable for the dog, but the dog does not scratch or damage the material. The ramp is so small and light that I can easily move it between vehicles if needed. It's not very long when unfolded and in use, but I've found lower spots to mount the top end on my truck, giving the dog only a short hop in my truck. Because the surface is so grippy and dog-friendly, you can also use it on a steeper slope than other ramps. The top end has a "curved" end so it attaches snugly to whatever you put in (but I still put my foot on the bottom as the dog uses it just in case).
