The clamp (wish it was longer on both sides, another inch) is too short for a thick folding table. I put some sticky felt pads under the table so the clamp could hold it better. All in all, the holder is definitely perfect for my scale meetings. I have a Logitech webcam that doesn't have a screw hole so I use a webcam phone holder. The cable of the lamp is rather short for me because I sit far away from the TV and computer. This is not a problem. I use a backup charger to light it. I think it's worth having a holder!
