This is an inexpensive mount. Bought for iPad. To install the tablet, you must manually squeeze the two levers together with the tablet in the middle while manually applying pressure to the foam mounting pads. On the other hand, the locking mechanism on the back has to be turned. The tablet fits into the holder with relative ease, but it doesn't sit very securely on the sides that don't have holders. I highly recommend being careful when switching from landscape to portrait mode with the tripod controls as the tablet tends to slip. and a $5 mount can deal $200 damage. All in all, it's a cheap mount. This will most likely work if the tablet is in a case with rougher edges (iPad has very thin edges, which exacerbates problems with this mount). and overall the product is below average. I was arguing between 1-2 stars but because of the low price I'm giving 2 stars.
