I am always embarrassed reading reviews when I see that some people love the product and others hate it. It's a complete mystery. I understand that something is not as you expect and I get angry, so I'm wondering if the product is that bad. This time I have to say I'm on both sides of the fence. I started buying this product after trying and failing a lot with other brands. I was very excited because he did everything he promised. It was lightweight, low in dust and suppressed odors incredibly well. And it seemed like it would last forever. Would get 5 stars. That was a little over a year ago. Then a few weeks ago I received my order, poured some into the tray as usual and a huge cloud of stinky smoke/dust came out of the bucket! I had to leave the room - it burned my nose! I let it rest, covered the tray with a lid and hoped everything would be fine. The dust makes me feel better but the smell still makes me sick, like a department store at Christmas! It's gotten better, the 'other' scents take over, but when I switch boxes it starts all over again. I have to find something else! So 2 stars for the original product was good, but you lost 3 stars for stupidity. Some people seem to exaggerate in their reviews, but that's no lie! Thats so bad. It's so nice that the manufacturer wants to hear from us and asks to call them, but that's what reviews are for. We have already done our part. DO something about it now! I see New Litter Lock on the box which I think must be an improvement. What is clear, however, is that the product has become too expensive to produce and you have reverted to the old formula or, worse, cut corners to still keep it light. this. MORE DUST. Less substance, less odor control. Add perfume right?! NOT CORRECT! If someone claims to love this product, I think they received part of the original product. Lucky ones. You just have to be willing to switch products again. So disappointed.
