I don't know why the previous reviewer was mistaken about this being a knitting book as the title even says it's about creative knitting but it follows that even most the best books are can be totally misunderstood. Because of this? Absolutely one of, if not the BEST, best books on synthetic yarn and fiber spinning, pushing the boundaries of what counts as "handspun yarn". With 30 illustrated techniques and an equal number of patterns that can be knitted, crocheted, or sewn using the yarn you create, this is both inspirational and informative. In fact, THREE HUNDRED PAGES of inspiration. What I like most about her is that not only can this book be viewed and possibly used to rotate or create objects, but it is also a book to sit in and READ.
