I was really impressed with this bag! We were moving from California to Missouri, but did a lot of driving and camping. In total about 3,000 miles over 2 weeks; rain, snow and a lot of cold weather.Things to note: We didn’t have any top bars, so we fed the straps threw the car. This was kind of a pain in the butt to get tight with the clips but once you get it , it’s good to go. We ended up getting $7 ratchet straps from Walmart to use instead because we were getting in and out of the bag daily. If you’re just using it for a move, and won’t need to get into the bag often, then the straps it come with are perfect.3 days of nothing but RAIN:So everything stayed dry inside the bag. The straps running through the car do not. So it ended up soaking into my car and dripping. (Both the straps it came with and the ratchet did this). Pretty annoying, but I don’t think it’s the products fault, that’s just the reality of fabric straps being fed through the car lol. We just unclipped it at night so it wouldn’t leak into the car when we weren’t driving. We were doing 80-90MPH on the highway with no issues. Gas mileage did go down about 60 gallons. Usually a full tank gets me about 390miles and we were making about 330 before needing to fill up.I saw some complaints of the bag cracking and getting damaged during the drive. I’m not sure if it’s maybe due to heat or not, but we had no issues in the cold.Overall I’m very happy it made it through our whole trip in good condition! Would recommend for sure :)
