I love this end table when it's assembled and I could see it before it was assembled. Excellent color and hardware performance. I would give it 5 stars if I didn't spend 1/2 day assembling it and am an experienced assembler. They were instructions, the printing was cheap, and the illustrations difficult to see. I had to use a magnifying glass to see the details. I got through this thanks to Paul at Southern, a great tech support guy. Although I worked for over an hour to attach the spring loops, I gave up and was done with it. If you follow the directions directly, which is what I did with Paul (Hi Paul! Advice) they will still be a problem. I couldn't even see the bottom alignment screws in the box with LED lights on. The table is heavy at level 10 (marked 0) and I even tried turning on my side. I removed the spring and tried attaching it to the box and then the lid. That does not work. Since I'm going to put a glass lid on it, I'll skip it. The warehouse is used for boxes of old photos and letters, things I don't use often. When they are together, it's just wonderful. If I buy a second time, I wake up from so many curses. Here are some assembly guidelines: Do not remove labels from parts until this is done. Check if they match the photos. Left and right sides are important. Make sure you have a large table and cover it with a blanket or soft cloth. The silver screws and wooden dowels must be screwed into the panel before attaching the side panels. Dowel Use a towel wrapped around the hammer to install the dowel if you are using one. I did not do it. When attaching the spring loops, make sure you have the correct hinge for the correct side. They're different. Hold the legs in place and align them when attaching. If you have any problems call Paul he's great! Give the southern a big bonus and write some directions.
