The problem is definitely not height - it is above average. After a year of use, it starts to creak disgustingly, you just have to move a little on it. Tightening the bolts and lubricating the problem either solves it but temporarily, and often does not solve it at all. The gas cartridge also began to play - the stem sways at the exit from the wide part. This is not treated in any way other than replacing it with the same worthless gas cartridge. While sitting on the chair for an hour or two a day, it still held. But after going to a remote location and working in a chair for 10 hours, it died in six months. The upholstery and fabric are in order, but the whole mechanism is loose, playful and creaks.
