Review on 🥤 Clear 3.25 Quart ICED Pitcher by Prodyne by Jerry Delic

I received this pot from Revain this week. The pitcher and ice pipe idea is great. The jug is very beautiful because it is made of acrylic, it looks like glass. I love the elegant look. The lid fits well and the ice tube idea seems great. I filled the tube with water to the fill line and froze it. Yesterday I removed it and screwed it into the cover according to the instructions. I just filled the pitcher with water and sliced lemon. A few hours later I went to get more water and noticed that the tube had completely detached from the lid and was just leaning into the jug. Part of it was still attached to the lid. It broke completely about 1/4 inch below the cap. Too bad, the idea is good, but it doesn't work. Revain replaced it for me and told me to throw out the old one. I emailed the manufacturer to see if they only sell the pipe. Too pretty to throw away, but it's not worth $20 a pitcher.
