Great product: exterior accessories

I ordered this product for my 2013 Ford Edge SEL. I used Amazon Prime, the item arrived the next day with everything in the box. The installation instructions provided were good, but I also used a YouTube video on installing a similar product to help,[.] I didn't have to remove any rear quarter panels to install them, which was good because my Edge has an electric motor for the tailgate. and a lever on the rear wall on the driver's side. Installing all the connectors in the rear of the car took about 20 minutes. However, I had trouble trying to route the power cable to the battery. I tried running the power cord under the car but it proved too difficult with only a foot of ground clearance and heat and dust protection everywhere. I ended up routing the power cable inside the car under the dash through the firewall grommet that the other cables ran through. (picture included). I didn't have to remove the upholstery in the car, I just ran the wire under the upholstery where it meets the carpet. I slipped the ice pick through a grommet (away from the other bundle of wires) in the engine compartment, then stood under the dash and attached the wire to the ice pick. I then fed the cable through the grommet and connected it to the battery as instructed. This was the hardest part of the installation. There isn't much room to play between the 2.0L engine and the firewall, so an extra person (with small hands) saves a lot of frustration. This is a great product with everything you need.
