Kwikset Universal Security Pin Lock (Good for the price)
LOCK OPENING -------Honestly a $15 job, that's not bad at all for a two pin safety latch. If you love picking locks, this is a good cheap lock to practice picking the security pins. HOME INSTALLATION----------Home installation, this is a cheap hasp. The bezel attached to the frame is 2.02mm thick and the latch frame in the door is 1.75mm thick and made of an unknown metal; not very good for security. The latch protrudes approximately 1 inch/25.42 mm. If you rely on templates for DIY projects, this is a really cheeky template. Make sure you dot your i's and cross your t's before you start drilling. If you need legal certainty where you live in a bad neighborhood or other security issues, skip this and get a Sargent 485 or something similar for security.
