This dress is great for those who have just had a baby and have to go to a formal event! My husband and I were invited to a black tie wedding which took place when I was three months postpartum. My dilemma: I needed a dress that .1) allowed me to breastfeed 2) covered the straps of my nursing bra 3) slimmed my waist but was forgiving of my gradually shrinking stomach 4) theoretically still fit me when the weight of my Babies wore off5) didn't gain any wrinkles as we were due to fly to a wedding CHECK on all counts I felt beautiful in this dress, I was able to breastfeed my son with no problems and it rode really well! The stretch material in the upper half definitely gives me hope that I can wear this again in the future! I strongly recommend the darker color: it will definitely make you slimmer, and sweat stains or spilled milk will be less noticeable with a darker color.
