I recently bought a jack in addition to the two I already have which gave me a 30ft long two board stand between three jacks. Once you know the nuances of how they work, you'll be amazed at how easily they work. Remember that they work best with the weight on the supports when lowered. Also make sure the bottom handle is held in the down position. Another important detail: if you're making extended poles by sewing them in a 2 x 4 staggered pattern to get over 16 feet, make sure the connection is tight and perfectly aligned.
