OBDLink EX FORScan OBD adapter connects flawlessly. I have set the FORScan settings to "auto" for the COM port and the baud rate. I also set "connect automatically" and "increase automatically" and restarted the software. The great thing is that it doesn't require manual switching from HS (High Speed CAN) or MS (Medium Speed CAN) as is done electronically. I have previously bought another brand with a switch (see below). Constant manual switching of the HS/MS was required. The FORScan Software Forum recommends this device and says it was designed to work with their software. I bought "OHP ELMconfig FORScan OBD2 USB Adapter for Windows". You look at their user rating and overall it's pretty good. But I didn't know about FORScan support for "OBDLink EX FORScan OBD Adapter". Importantly, I was never sure if the OHP ELMconfig module was 100% working. It has 4 leds that blink at first but then I only get one red led. I'm sure someone has a guide for this thing, but there weren't any guides and I've searched all over to no avail. I couldn't find any instructions to figure out what the colored LEDs stand for. Plus a number of forums are talking about Chinese fakes ELM327.
