The bike is much more responsive and the performance increase (in combination with the TAB Performance top pipe exhaust which I installed at the same time) is obvious. The only thing I have is that the K&N filter is higher than the standard HD filter. Once installed, the airbox cover on the NRS will lift slightly, just a fraction of an inch - you'll need to add a little more. Lubricate your elbow when you reinstall the airbox cover, but it should fit snugly. There are posts on some HD and V-Rod forums where people mention leaving the top of the airbox under the cap, which I can do.
