Free flow is best in spares

The filter was a bit flexible compared to the standard metal frame filter. Special care must be taken to align them when reassembling. There should be a freer flow as there will be more suction noise. Everything else is fine

You can't go wrong with K&N

Bought this for my 2013 Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special. Very easy to assemble and fits perfectly. Can't really tell the difference compared to the original, but when you add the exhaust, air cleaner and tuner (Fuelpak) it's day and night. My bike is smoother and sounds more aggressive. Overall I am happy with this air filter. K&N can do no wrong!

The best protection and the best investment.

Of course 5 stars; This is a K&M product. I own many cars and exclusively use K&M in my everyday cars, hot rods, classics, motorcycles, boats, SUVs and everything else. Buy once and never again. The best protection and the best investment. Only needs to be updated every 10,000 km! Bought it for my 2006 VRSCR.

Cheapest mod you can make

08 Special HD night bar I just bought a bike and it stalls at certain RPMs. I thought maybe it was a bad tune due to the aftermarket exhaust. I checked the air filter and it was gross (looked like the original). I installed k&n, tested it and wow what a difference. No more hassle, just 🔋 power power POWER!

Installed on a 2013 HD Night Rod Special

The bike is much more responsive and the performance increase (in combination with the TAB Performance top pipe exhaust which I installed at the same time) is obvious. The only thing I have is that the K&N filter is higher than the standard HD filter. Once installed, the airbox cover on the NRS will lift slightly, just a fraction of an inch - you'll need to add a little more. Lubricate your elbow when you reinstall the airbox cover, but it should fit snugly. There are posts on some HD and V-Rod
