I've been looking for a webcam for a long time. Checking all the lightning fast deals, regardless of the price range, they all had 1 star reviews about how terrible they are. I stumbled across a lightning deal on this webcam, deal price with coupon reduced cost to $16 and free return shipping. Since it all had 5 star reviews with verified purchases, I decided to give it a try. It was truly plug and play (with WIN 10) and using an online webcam test site (webcam mic test - just remove the spaces and add a dot com) the picture was exceptional. I have a ceiling light in my study that sits behind me when I'm at my desk. I am fully illuminated on the webcam, although the light only comes from behind. The lens' wide angle shows a lot of the background, but I can deal with that (it's great for multi-person meetings, but a little wider for one-on-one video calls). The ONLY downside I had was the mic was quiet during testing but still usable. For $16 this was a great webcam.
