These radios do not have many of the features advertised. You have no channel search, VOX (voice operated broadcasts), alarms or channel monitors. I have attempted to contact the seller regarding these features and how to access them and what PC programming is and how to do it. but no answer. If you are looking for a basic two way radio with cheap headphones/microphone and charger then this is your radio. Works great, transmission is clear. There are no numbers on the channel selection button, but a woman's voice announces the channel number. Great function, you don't need to remove the walkie talkie from your belt or pocket when changing channels. Lightweight and easy to use. Was disappointed in the lack of the above features. UPDATE ---- After doing my own research, I found out that some of the above features can be activated via PC. You will need to purchase a PC cable as it is not included with the radios. When connected to a PC, most functions can be configured, turned on and off, the frequency changed and adjusted for each of the channels. static, but no problem listening to the transmission.
