Tree Hut Sugar Lip Scrub is definitely nothing special and very messy. I really love Tree Hut's sugar body scrubs, I use them every day so I had high hopes for this lip scrub but unfortunately I was disappointed. On the plus side, it tastes really great and doesn't make you feel bad, it's just not very moisturizing. I have to apply moisturizer, which I don't think should be the case with a good lip scrub. The packaging is misleading, it actually uses oversized plastic to make the amount of product you receive appear larger than it is. The pot is tiny, square, but the actual circle inside the product-filled pot is even smaller. I bought this as part of a Mother's Day gift but was too embarrassed to give it as I thought they might think it was a sample that was so small so I bought something else for her and just left it for me. ⚠️ The formula is a little. Dry - the sugar dissolves and falls off instead of sticking to the lips. ⚠️ Dry, crumbly, lumpy. ⚠️ Difficult to blend/peel. ⚠️ Leaves lips semi-hydrated. Moisturizer needs to be applied.⚠️ Small and misleading packaging - a square plastic pot that is enlarged, increasing the amount of product. Also, the pot is square, but only the small circle inside is filled with food (turn it over to see this).
