Supplied with Velcro and suction cup for attachment. It is better not to stick velcro to the aquarium, so I used a suction cup, but the thermometer did not stick to the suction cup, it kept falling off. So at the moment the display next to the tank is set. It's easy to see the digital reading. Accurate readings compared to my glass thermometer. I wish the cord was longer so I could use it for my 75 gallons and mount the gauge on the wall so the cord doesn't get in the way, but the gauge would be way up in the water and I like it deeper in the water, to measure in the middle.
