I'm 6ft 1in, 140lbs and bought Small. My height/weight was off the size chart, but rounding up was definitely the right choice. long legs even when I raise them to my natural waist. There is enough room in the crotch for me to be able to pull them up that high. The belt isn't very restrictive, which is both good and bad; movement if they don't reach my natural waistline. Material is very thin and not tight at all; not sure if this even qualifies as mild compression (8mmHg). The stitches are invisible and overall very comfortable. Despite all the flaws mentioned, I believe they are worth the price ($12.89). If you can't find Under Armor Cold Gear below retail and don't need merino wool for extra warmth, this is a budget alternative that keeps your base layer off the boot.
