I don't know what the Camp Chef engineers were thinking when they installed the rubber propane hose connector at the angle they have on these camp stoves. I used this to connect the metal pipes that go to the back of the stove so I can attach a propane hose there without causing any damage. This also allows the stove to be detached from the leg extensions and placed on a hard surface if required without damaging the hose. This connector has a swivel on the female end so I can position the flared end where I want it, unlike the fixed adapter which places the flared end in the wrong place.
