I have two fairly new B&D dust collectors: CHV1210 and HHV1315JO42. I complain that they don't come with a plastic pre-filter like my old and defunct CHV1400 Type 1. The pre-filter protects the cloth filter and makes washing or cleaning easier as only the thin dust and dirt can get in. So I went with the filter #90558115 as the plastic part looked the same as my new dust bags. It fits perfectly and the plastic pre-filter is removable so you can rinse out the fabric filter. This filter is suitable for many dust collectors as many of them use the same fabric filter, although this information is not available. And of course you can still buy the VF110 replacement fabric filters if you want if you don't want to bother with washing the fabric filters or they can't be washed. Simply plug the pre-filter onto the plastic housing of the new fabric filter VF110. Highly recommended.
