The fittings themselves seem fine. As mentioned, the 3.5mm connector doesn't latch very securely, so the connection seems tentative. What really stinks is the Android app. Connects and displays the temperature. You can set alarms for over/under/etc. but they fire inconsistently and despite what they say they do NOT take the form of an Android notification. The notification will appear in the notification drop-down list. In this case, a warning is displayed in a window within the application. It is not good at all if you are in another application at this time. I'm going back and looking for something better.
