I bought 4 new shock absorbers for my nephews to study. And even though the manufacturer had a promotion back then (buy 4 get 1 off), it sounded like a pretty good deal. We received shock absorbers in good time, one at the front and one at the back. So far so good, so we started by removing the old shock absorbers and preparing to install the new ones. Everything went well until the last shock. It just so happened that it was one of two boxes that we didn't open. Deep and now a new damper was leaking. Now I had to open all 4 boxes and inspect all the shock absorbers before removing the old ones. My bag! While I thought we might get the wrong shocks, I never thought one of them could be leaking. The 3 good ones work really well but I'm wondering how long before they start leaking? Council, do not repeat my mistake. Be sure to open all boxes and inspect the item before beginning any project.
