This is the BEST LAYER for ferrets! We have 2 ferrets and this litter completely absorbs the ammonia smell from the urine in the bowl. When I read it in the description I thought it might be worth trying but I had my doubts. It absolutely works! It's a bit more expensive than other litters, but it's worth it! Ferrets already have a "unique" smell, and anything that can help with that is worth it. I will never buy a litter again. I scoop everything from her trash can into a gallon zip so I don't have to go to the trash can outside multiple times a day. I throw it away when it's half full. Even after a few days, the Ziploc doesn't smell. Hello recommend!
