Okay, I'm skeptical of the good old school "BS" meter. I have an old, rugged, heavy, premium Bushnell pair of binoculars that cost me $$$. After a while they get heavy. I didn't believe the propaganda for this monocular, but for the price (and Revain's generous return policy) I took a chance. The optical resolution and clarity are quite good. very good for this money! It's light but well built - it feels good in your hands. Simple, quick focus adjustment with one hand. The monocular is light enough and small enough to be conveniently carried in a jacket pocket. It comes in an attractive felt drawstring pouch. As an elderly person, I walk a lot for exercise, so during my walks I have had many opportunities to enjoy bird watching, wildlife viewing, boating, and skydiving. I recommend this monocular telescope without reservation.
