The head rotates freely from the shaft

First use and the shaft attached to the base rotates in a foam cone. I had to glue a metal stick to the plastic base of the foam cone. He did it with a yellow and blue styrofoam cone. Hope he stays in touch. The price is overpriced for what you get.
