Advantages: Easy to use, no sharp ends when closed, slack rope cuts like green beans. Ideal and safe for cutting and repairing rope exercises (magic). The price is cheaper than most office scissors. The Bad: They don't massage my hands while using them or whistle a happy tune. Overall: very satisfied with the product. I RARELY give 5 star reviews (go to my profile and take a look) but these scissors are perfect for one of my magical treatments. I have used office/home scissors in the past which took several attempts to cut the rope even when it was taut. I bought expensive fabric scissors but those blades were vorpal and I cut myself just by touching the blades (there was no way I would allow the viewer to use them). These scissors have a blunt tip and a small cutting range, making them the most efficient and safest pair. As a bonus, the handles are wide ovals that create the secondary effect of throwing scissors at the rope to tie it in one go. I don't use them on leather or anything like that but I can honestly say they're amazing to me. I will order another pair as a backup. ***** to bind them at once.
