I liked that the longer hoses attached to it give extra flexibility. The old faucet had short copper tubs + plastic fittings. It has a braided flexible hose that allows you to connect directly to the fasteners on the bottom of the cabinet. The faucet head is plastic but looks the same as the metal faucet itself (I couldn't tell from the pictures so thought it might help someone). Moves slightly from left to right. It also comes with an installation tool that may or may not help you remove the old faucet (the hardest part). It seems that most tool kits come with 5/8 and 11/16 wrenches but none of the intermediate wrenches (21/32) that we needed to remove the old wrench. We stow the tools provided directly in the cupboard in case they should fall out due to the vibration of the garbage chute. All in all a nice faucet that works easily! cb
