UPDATE February 28, 2018: The first strap broke after 3 months of private use. I've never had a single break so quickly. This is clearly not a genuine Kenmore/Panasonic belt. ORIGINAL REVIEW: In short: the strap fits my Panasonic Kenmore handheld vacuum perfectly. Time will tell how he holds up. To change the belt on a vacuum like mine, slide the tabs on each side of the top cover, then lift and remove the cover. Then remove the old broken belt and clean it of threads and dust. Set the impact switch to the carpet position and slide the new belt onto the motor shaft. Then lift the end of the hammer with the strap (leave the other end in place as much as possible), put a new strap on the end and use the hammer itself as leverage to pull the strap, while sitting on your right side. back in place. Replace the top cover and you're done. So why did I give two stars? Vacuum Fix didn't send me the original straps I expected. I wanted real belts, Panasonic and possibly Kenmore. In my experience they last the longest. This particular listing does not mention that this is a 'compatible' belt. Instead, it features the Kenmore brand logo at the top of the page and the Kenmore number. What I got were generic drugs. It fits well. They're easier to use than return, but I'll probably come back here sooner than I want to get more.
