Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Bellelli Bicycle Baby Carrier: Convenient Stem, Seatpost, or Rack Mount Options by Brandon Skeet

solid and reliable with few issues

I bought this carrier at a reasonable price for my 2 year old to use for going outside during the coronavirus. It should be noted that it will not fit my bike with disc brakes as the wires fit right into the seatpost where I would need to place the clamp, but it will fit my spouse's bike with regular caliper brakes. Check your seatpost before you buy! It was easy to install with two people, one person could handle a little difficulty, and you need some tools. It comes with 2 different sized clamps for different seat post sizes. The plastic of the seat makes a durable impression. The weakest part of the seat will be the footrest side, which is made of thinner plastic and sits right next to the rear wheel spokes. It's not touch, but it's really close! However, this plastic prevents my child from pushing his feet towards the wheels. The footrests are adjustable and have a strap that holds your ankles. My child is smaller than average, but can be easily secured with a seat belt (3-point belt). If you want to get your child on and off without removing the bike helmet, you need to lower the chest clip, thus increasing the opening between the two shoulders. The height of the shoulder straps is adjustable. There's a spot on the seat that looks like you can add a lap belt - if you want to make it a 5 point harness. In general, my child likes to ride a bike in the seat and I believe that in the event of an accident (hopefully never) this will save them from serious injury.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
