Nice, chic, HEAVY knife set. The quality is amazing! They cut and clean very well. Each knife is packed in an individual box upon receipt. The knife block is sturdy and consists of 3 parts, which is nice if you can share certain knives in the kitchen. If you have a separate cooking area, you can put those knives in there and leave the rest in another part of the kitchen. . It is unlikely that you will ever need or want another set of knives. I have an extra bread knife that I will keep in this set because the bread knife in this set is quite short. But other than that I have no complaints and I'm so glad I have them! I can get rid of my shitty old knives, hooray! They make a great gift for a beginner or serious home cook.
