Cool Lens Accessory

Pros: I enjoyed experimenting with this accessory. This gives a cool effect to your shots and is great when you want to capture a very wide angle shot. I work for a construction company and I always try to capture as much as possible of the finished project at once to send to our evaluation team to add to the portfolio of successful works - this little app certainly helped and the guys at headquarters were impressed. I use this to attach to a Canon EFS 18-55mm lens I already had and it works great. I can't understand why you would buy a fisheye lens that only does fisheye photography, they can cost anywhere from $250-$700, but maybe there's something I don't know. The Bad: At around 28mm to 18mm the lens barrel becomes visible in shots (black circular border) - this can be a cool effect, but I mainly use this lens for wide angle shots so the black border pisses me off. The lens cap has no latch or screw - it slides and fits very loosely making it easy to fall off and scratch the lens. The packaging was terribly done; I was shocked that the lens didn't break just because of someone's carelessness.

  • New
Cons
