I bought two such devices. They heat the grips well, prevent my hands from going numb in freezing temperatures. They may not be as effective as heated gloves, but once you put them on they certainly become a lot easier and more comfortable. Easy to install, although I was annoyed at the wrong rocker switch pinout - the instructions that came with my kit. The connections for the switch were in the wrong order and the device initially received no power even when it was on. If you're having trouble with them not showing up after installation, take another look at the connections and make sure you've got them in the right place. A few other installation considerations: Insulate if you have aluminum bars, but I would suggest using it whether you have aluminum bars or not. Any metal acts as a heat sink, reducing the efficiency of your heater. It only takes a few minutes to put the shrink tubing on and do it while you're there. Be careful of the orientation of the heating pad, it most likely will not wrap completely around your wands. Consider which part of your hands will be warmest and make sure you don't line the exposed part of the bars under that part of your hands. Consider using heat shrink tubing to clean up the wiring after installation for a nicer look. see.- Once you are reasonably comfortable with the wiring, you should consider drawing power from your battery by using a relay to switch the power on and off. Don't forget the built-in fuse!
