Product cheap, "locking plastic latches" (that stick straight up in the air) would never hit the BMW gas tank and "snap in". ' as originally intended. The locking tabs were deformed which could cause the fuel pump to detach and fall out, possibly tipping over in the tank when the car was turned around. The Chinese manufacturer that made this fuel pump assembly did not meet the specifications of the German-made fuel pump. So I didn't even try to install it because I knew it would be a problem while driving or worse if I had half a tank of gas and the intake screen wouldn't sit on the bottom of the tank and the car only would stop even with petrol in the car.
