I am currently using the light with my iPhone 12. The problems I have found are related to trying to update the software. The instructions are not concise enough to get something done without much effort. If you are patient and try to do something yourself, the light will really work. I use them for timers and they work fine. I believe the distance from the lights to the phone is also an issue. Technical support is poor, nobody will contact you if you solve problems. Should have returned them, but perseverance won out
