Review on 🥬 Crazy Korean Cooking Premium Kimchi & Sauerkraut Fermentation Container - Inner Vacuum Lid, Sandy Brown - 1.6 Gallon (6.4L) by Kawaguchi Burgess

Amazing food and fermentation container.

The first thing I like about this container is the smell loss as some people don't like the smell of kimchi in the fridge. I made kimchi, it came out perfect and keeps very well. If this is your first time making kimchi, I recommend reading a book on the subject that you can easily find on your Kindle. I would recommend using premium fish sauce and salt as this makes the best kimchi. If you are worried about the price, I recommend the Mother-In-Law DIY Kimchi Kit. It costs around $21 and is financially easier on most budgets. It comes with a very, very, very good fish sauce and chili. I recommend looking for a darker traditional chili used in kimchi rather than the brightly colored ones, although they work great and are pretty close in price ($2.95 difference). I personally like this container, I also have a smaller 2 liter size. I personally find the 1.6 gallon best for long-term use, as the smaller one has clips to latch the lid in a one-piece design on top of the lid, which can wear down and eventually break the plastic after a while. Personally, I buy at least 1-2 in 1.6 gallons and 5 gallons. So I can have one for kimchi, pickles and one for food that just needs to be sealed well. Great product and highly recommend as I do a lot of gourmet and traditional cooking and this is just an amazing product. Depending on the size of your fridge I would buy 1.6 gallon and .5 gallon so you can have a small one for lunch or to share with family or friends. This product is very well made and very neatly packaged, my only regret is the limited size of the refrigerator, but depending on local weather, it may very well be stored in the garage during the cooler months to also slow down kimchi fermentation.
