But it worked great. the best among hubs and controllers

I bought this wireless receiver together with a separate product Nexlux LED light (LED strips for TVs). I saw in the Wi-Fi controller information that it only works with RGB strips, so I checked the information on my LED bulbs and thought I was done! I got the controller and connected it to the light strip. He turned it on ok but the colors were reversed (the red button turned on the blue lights). I connected the app (it worked great btw!) but it was still backwards. Wow, the Wi-Fi remote does NOT fit on the light bar. I contacted the company thinking I had received a defective strip or remote control. They replied very quickly and informed me that the two products are indeed incompatible. They were very helpful and accommodating with everything (top notch customer service!). I ended up giving this product 4 stars because it REALLY worked as intended (the app connected perfectly and worked as advertised) and the technical error I encountered was my fault. However, the compatibility information was not unique in either offering (Wi-Fi receiver and TV light bars), and in fact both referenced the same item number. The products were made by the same company, the pictures and information appeared to be pretty much identical and even after carefully examining the pictures and details I still couldn't see anything clearly indicating differences. While the product itself had no flaws, I felt that the advertising (or lack thereof) misled me a bit. I would recommend contacting the company before purchasing this product to ensure your lights are compatible. And to be clear, I also recommend the product itself. :)
