We have four small dogs that love to bark (after the first one starts barking). I have a set of two previous iterations and it works amazing! The updated model has batteries, standard USB and is waterproof. Great update. I don't use the shock option because basically "sound" works almost all the time, vibration is only needed when very naughty. The device has a long range. when dogs bark excessively in the garden. At over 400 feet, I just "beep" them and they immediately run into the house and jump in my chair onto my lap. I used to have to get up and go to the back door and yell at them, but nothing more. 2 dogs like collars when presented in the morning, 2 others I sometimes have to persuade to wear them. at home when not wearing them, when I need to control a crowd of small dogs, often all I have to do is lift the controller and they calm down. The training tone is great and I actually recorded it and put it on my phone. Phone and can only play a short burst and works well once trained. Highly recommended and worth buying.
